Everyone is Alright

A lot has happened over the past few weeks - the most recent being Matt's surgery on Friday. As most of you know, he had a benign tumor growing on the back of his head that he had removed. Everything went great with the surgery and he is doing great (other than being in a bit of pain).  Here is some before and after photos. His surgeon was awesome and the stitches look so much better than we expected.

This is before the surgery-

Here is after... there is a lot of swelling, but the stitches are amazing (you can hardly see them).

With Big Daddy passing, we went down to the ranch a couple of times (for the funeral, then to handle estate stuff, etc.). David had a great time playing with all the country toys:

Maybe this is completely inappropriate, but the kids (and my brother) had fun playing on Big Daddy's scooter...

David and his cousin at the funeral.

The other night we asked David to "clean-up" his toys before bed. He disappeared for a while and came back with his hat, crocs and the swiffer.

Last weekend, while David and I headed down to my ranch, Matt and his friend Jake (aka Big Jake) went to the OU/Notre Dame game.

Here is me trying to convince David to put on the superhero mask for Halloween.

The kids just hanging out chatting before we went trick-or-treating. How cute is this crew.
