Because we had such a great time two years ago at Kristen and Dave's wedding, we went back to the same area for our summer vacation. We stayed at the same resort, but at a sister property that is larger and more catered to families. It was perfect. Vacation with a one-year old is not exactly relaxing, but overall, everyone had a great time. David especially enjoyed the kid's club, which included a movie theater, a video game room, a Lego room as well as an inside gym.

We arrived at the resort on Saturday afternoon. Our room was perfect - it had a large balcony on the front overlooking the ocean and pool access on the other side. And it was glassed in so that we could trap the little guy...
The hotel is also fabulous because they have every toy that fisher price makes and they will bring whatever you want to keep in the room. So our first stop was to pick out toys for the week (notice the walker in the second picture below):
We had a great place to have breakfast that they brought to our room every single morning. They even brought us a high chair for Henry ... it was wonderful:
We spent lots of time at the beach and pool just hanging out:

The resort had a separate kids pool with kid-sized lounge chairs. How cute is this?

The resort had a different show every night and they were actually really really good. More on that to come later.. including video of David taking part in the activities.
