Happy Good Friday

The Easter festivities have begun. Yesterday, David's school held an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Matt and I got there a few minutes late, so we missed the bulk of the actual Easter egg hunt (turns out, the eggs go fast with 40+ toddlers), but we got to hang out with David and the other kids as they checked out the scored goods and talked to the Easter bunny. We tried to sneak in so as to not disturb the Easter egg hunt (we figured David would not participate if he saw us beforehand). When we spotted him, he was just casually looking around...

 This is Ms. Loree - the director of the school. She is so super sweet and nurturing - exactly who you would want in charge of a school.

 He did much better with the Easter bunny than he did with Santa Claus, but he was not going to look at the camera. He didn't quite trust that bunny enough to look away.
