On Good Friday, we got up early and went to the Dallas Arboretum. They were having lots of activities for the kids, including a concert in the park. We enjoyed having lunch outside and listening to the kid's music and then walking around the arboretum. David really enjoyed the pioneer houses display this time. He went in every house, laid on the bed, checked out the kitchen tools and looked out every window. It was such a nice day.
On Saturday, we headed down to Wortham after Little Gym to visit with my family. Papa Lane and Diana had an Easter egg hunt for the kids and made a nice lunch for everyone. We then headed out to the Ranch to visit with my mom's side of the family.
After the Easter egg hunt, the kid's heard an ice cream truck making the rounds around Wortham. It was pretty cool. David had no idea what everyone was so excited about until he realized ice cream was involved.
I took David for a ride on the 4-wheeler out of the ranch. We just went around the yard, but he spent the whole time saying "this is so much fun, mommy!"
