Trip to Austin

We went down to Austin this weekend to attend "Aunt" Keri's graduation. Keri is a really great friend of mine that I have known since 3rd grade. The trip down was a bit of a struggle as it took us a little over 6 hours due to the bad weather on Friday and lots and lots of traffic. David dislikes, no hates, being in the car, so not much fun... But, after we got out of the car (and in David's mind, removed him from the torture device known as a carseat), we had a really good time hanging out with Keri and her family and friends. David was awesome through the entire graduation ceremony. He was even good through a quite lenghty speech by Powers Booth (Curly Bill from Tombstone) which has to be the worst commencement speech ever (it included a 15 minute rambling about Powers time in communist Russia...from which the only connection we could make to current life is that he took up the Russian habit of drinking Vodka for breakfast). It was a great weekend and the trip back was much less stressful. Congratulations to Keri on her graduation!!

In other David news-- he is still struggling with his teeth coming in. The whole process seems painful and it is very sad to see peanut upset, but we now have two fully visible teeth (the two front ones on the bottom).

David and Keri's little guy Mason -- it looks like these two just got caught doing something bad!
