A Major Break Through

We had a pretty great day here in Dallas. We started with a early morning walk to the park and visited with the neighbors. After David's morning nap (which amazingly he takes at the time when we use to get up on the weekends), we loaded up and headed to the White Rock Lake Festival. Not much for the very little ones there, so we went to the bookstore and Babies R'Us. All around pretty good day.

We also woke up to really big news this morning-- David's first tooth has officially broken through the gums (on the bottom). He was really fussy at dinner last night, but we didn't really see or feel anything. Somehow, during the night, a little tiny baby tooth appeared. It is just barely through the gums, but you can definitely see and feel it. Very exciting development!

We went to Black Eyed Pea, which was one of my favorite place to eat during the pregnancy (together with Luby's), for dinner. David really enjoyed the light above the table..so much so that I had to get the camera out. He was quite amused.

If you look away for just one second, peanut grabs anything and everything that is within his reach. He figured out that he could lean back and extend his reach by thrusting himself forward in the high chair.. hence, the ketchup bottle quickly became his dinner conquest. He was not happy about leaving it at the restaurant.
