Aunt Hayley and New Books

Aunt Hayley came up to see us this weekend and we had so much fun. David got to watch cartoons in bed with Hayley (one of his favorite things to do), we went to breakfast and enjoyed sitting outside both Saturday and Sunday morning (both days at our favorite restaurant - Garden Cafe), went to the park, went to JumpStreet (a new indoor trampoline park that is AWESOME) and to the zoo (before the cold front came in). Hayley and I even snuck away on Saturday night and saw movie. It was a fun weekend, but most importantly - David got his Aunt Hayley time (of which he is a big fan).  I know I have said it before, but Hayley is really like a sister to me and an aunt to David. Since she moved to Austin, she has been so great at making the effort to come see us. In fact, she has made it up to Dallas to see David at least once a month since she moved.  It means a lot to have someone that committed to being a part of his life. And, although we miss seeing her almost every day, it is so nice when we get to visit. Thanks for coming up, Aunt Hayley!

 

 

David was also super excited to get a package in the mail on Friday. His Aunt Kim and Uncle Jake sent him so new books, including a new Christmas book that he loves (we have read it every night). Thanks!!
