Doc Visit

David went for his 2 month check-up yesterday...a little late due to the holidays (he is actually now 2.5 months). The doctor confirmed what we already knew.. he is a really big baby. David weighs 16 lbs 3 oz (above the 95th percentile) and is 25 inches in length (90th percentile). He got his first set of vaccinations, consisting of a total of 3 shots and one oral medication. David did really well and thanks to Matt/Dad being there, so did I. The doc said he is healthy and looks great.

Christmas at Grandma Gil's House

David spent his very first Christmas Eve at Grandma Gil's house with his great Grandma Gil (who is truly great), Grandpa Lane and Nano (Grandma Diana), his Aunt Blair, his Uncle Brandin and Aunt Shawna and his three cousins Paytin, Colton and Kinsey. We had a great dinner, Nano read the kids a Christmas story (which David slept through), and the kids really enjoyed opening all their gifts.

David's First Christmas

David celebrated his first Christmas a little early in Oklahoma City yesterday. His Granny D and Papa Bruce bought him way too many gifts, including a Leap Frog singing/talking doggie that he just loves. He also gots lots and lots of gifts, love and attention from his Uncles Luke and Jake and his great grandparents (MiMar and Granddad Sutter).

Goodbye to Grandma Waterman

Matt's grandmother, Grandma Waterman, passed away this past week and so we traveled to OKC to attend her funeral. She was 84 years old and went to join her husband of over 60 years who passed away a few years ago. Luckily, David got to meet his great Grandma Waterman at Thanksgiving. She will be missed.

The Darn Thing Talks!

David is just getting to where he swings and kicks at the various hanging items on the activity gym. When you hit the butterfly it sings ...which, as you can see, just delights the heck out of David.

Christmas Cheer

David and I had a big day. We returned our Angel Tree gifts to the mall and wrapped up the last of our Christmas wrapping. We also saw Santa at the mall, but no pictures this year since Matt is convinced the swine flu lives in/on Santa's suit.

Hanging with the Boys

Matt's college roommate, Karl Weber, and his wife, Lisa, were visiting from California this weekend. Matt, Karl and David spent all day Sunday watching football and playing video games....giving me time to finish our Christmas shopping. Here are a few pictures of peanut with his Uncle Karl (who will never be allowed to tell David stories about his daddy's college days).

Big Eyes

Just hanging out over the weekend:

David's First Photo Shoot

David's First Thanksgiving

We went to Oklahoma City for Thanksgiving this year. David got to meet his great MiMar and Granddad Sutter and great Grandma Waterman for the very first time as well as his great Uncle Mike. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner and Matt/daddy got to celebrate his 30th Birthday at the OU/OSU game with his brothers and big Jake. Here are some pictures:
